YAF EDUCATING AND TRAINING TOMORROW’S LEADERS PROJECT

In 2021, to support the new president of Young America’s Foundation, Governor Scott Walker, and his “The Long Game” campaign to positively impact America’s youth, the Dao Feng and Angela Foundation and the Bedrock Foundation decided to co-fund the “Educating and Training Tomorrow’s Leaders” Project. This initiative was designed to align with The Long Game and consisted of six modules – including conferences, seminars, booklets, and campus video streaming – targeting middle school, high school, and college students.

The Bedrock Foundation and the Dao Feng and Angela Foundation chose to support YAF because we observed the widespread problem of “political correctness” in the education systems of American colleges and high schools. In the United States – the land of free speech – the video of conservatism is often unable to be expressed freely on campus. We believe this constitutes an educational crisis concerning modern universal public values that urgently needs to be addressed.

By the end of 2025, two foundations had donated more than $430,000 to the project (Bedrock Foundation had contributed $60,000). These grants enabled the project’s in-person activities to directly reach 609 students, while online live streaming and video content reached 62 million people. More importantly, throughout this collaborative effort, both teams maintained an open and honest attitude, resulting in smooth communication and mutual understanding. This strong partnership laid the foundation for the development of the innovative flagship project, The Dao Prize.
