About Us

Dao Feng & Angela Foundation and Bedrock Foundation partnered in 2025 under shared Board governance and a Joint President’s Office. Together they are building a joint grantmaking platform guided by biblical principles, advancing the conservative movement and the Gospel movement, and safeguarding universal values.

This role is employed by Bedrock Foundation and supports day-to-day office needs for both foundations.

About the Role

We are hiring an entry-level Operations Assistant to handle a variety of routine administrative tasks in a small office—scheduling and travel help, filing, meeting prep, light office upkeep, occasional website updates, and simple program logistics.

This is not a senior operations or high-volume production role. The work is varied and hands-on, paced for one junior teammate supporting the Executive Director.

What You’ll Do

  • Help with calendars, appointments, and basic travel arrangements
  • Prepare simple meeting materials; take notes/minutes; send reminders
  • Support Board and executive meeting prep (materials, reminders, and light follow-up such as basic expense routing or filing resolutions as directed)
  • Draft or format routine documents and keep files organized (digital and paper)
  • Order office supplies, greet visitors, and coordinate basic facility/vendor requests
  • Make light WordPress updates (e.g., news or event posts) and help maintain related services (email, domain, cloud storage; servers only as directed)
  • Assist with logistics for occasional programs or events
  • Provide occasional volunteer coordination support (schedules, simple materials, or inquiry routing) as assigned
  • Other small administrative tasks as assigned

Who We’re Looking For

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • About 1 year of administrative or office-support experience (nonprofit or foundation a plus), or strong transferable experience
  • Excellent/professional fluency in written and spoken English; solid Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to juggle several small tasks, keep details straight, and handle confidential information carefully
  • Authorized to work full-time in the U.S. without employer visa sponsorship
  • Ability to work full-time on-site at our Rosslyn, Virginia office during core business hours
  • Commitment to understand, affirm, and practice Bedrock Foundation’s mission and vision in the course of your work

Preferred

  • Interest in WordPress and everyday AI tools for drafting/research
  • Familiarity with project-tracking tools such as Trello
  • Comfort supporting Board or executive meeting prep

What We Offer

  • Annual salary $55,000–$65,000, based on experience
  • Medical insurance (CareFirst) and a SIMPLE IRA (details at offer)
  • 7 vacation days and 5 sick days per year (prorated in first/last year), plus 7 paid holidays: New Years Day, Chinese New Year, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
  • Direct exposure to foundation office operations in a lean, mission-driven team
